Chanukah

Chanukah

While Chanukah is primarily celebrated in the home, each year Temple Israel celebrates our “Night of 100 Menorahs” on the Friday night during Chanukah. Each family is invited to bring a Chanukiyah, a menorah, for every member of their family, which we will light together in the Rose and Morris Kraft Sanctuary during services. We also have a special Chanukah family dinner each year featuring latkes (potato pancakes) and sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts), which are traditionally eaten during the holiday. We invite your family to join Temple Israel for one of our most treasured holiday traditions!
