While a child of 13 technically becomes an “adult” in Jewish life, the Reform movement created the ritual of Confirmation to allow a young adult to confirm their commitment to Judaism and living a Jewish life.  Following additional study after becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah at the age of 13, Confirmation generally occurs at the end of 10th grade.

Please contact  Temple Israel for more information about our Confirmation program.
