TI building

Warm • Inviting • Engaging • Socially Active

These are just a few adjectives that we believe best describe Temple Israel’s rich and diverse history in the Palm Beach Jewish community. We invite you to take a look and discover for yourself the wonderful congregation that awaits you on Flagler Drive.

Established in 1923, not only is Temple Israel the Palm Beach’s oldest synagogue but it is also the newest. This is visibly clear as you sit in our newly remodeled Sanctuary, enjoy a quiet moment in the meditation garden overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, or grab a cup of coffee in our Internet café next to our Media Center.

We are steeped in Jewish tradition and culture but our doors are open to the very diverse population that makes up the Reform movement.  The warmth and caring of our congregants, along with our vibrant new Rabbi, Cookie Lea Olshein, offer a spiritual atmosphere that allows each congregant to participate at whatever level desired.

Our congregation encompasses a wide range of interests and this is reflected in the variety of activities and programs held at the Temple. Whether we are attending Shabbat services or adult education classes through our “TI Learns” program, feeding the homeless, organizing a walk to benefit a local charity, attending an art lecture, taking a class or listening to a guest speaker, there is something available for every congregant and guest.

We welcome and encourage congregational participation in our many religious, social and educational programs offered throughout the year. Details about Shabbat services can be found here.

We look forward to having you join our Temple Israel family.  We are available to discuss any questions you may have regarding membership or to provide specific information on programs and activities of interest to you.  Please contact me at Michael@MNJonasLaw.com

Shalom,

Michael Jonas, President
