We are excited to announce that the new website ReformJudaism.org is out of “beta” mode and now officially launched! This means we will begin to more aggressively promote the website through all of our available channels. It doesn’t, however, mean that the website is complete; it is and will continue to be a growing work in progress. We invite you to help us get the word out and to contribute and encourage contributions, so that it may continue to grow and evolve.
ReformJudaism.org is the first website to provide a wealth of Jewish information through a Reform Jewish lens. Our intended audiences are affiliated Jews, unaffiliated/unengaged Jews, and those who are just curious. Our goal is to provide visitors with engaging content that represents the best that the Reform Movement has to offer. We encourage you to keep this in mind, and let us know if you, or any of your colleagues or contacts in the Reform world might be able to contribute content. We will consider any suggestions and look forward enriching the site by showcasing the great work from our congregations.
Some easy ways to contribute to the new site include:
Visitors can comment on nearly any page of the site, and can interact with the site in many other ways as well, including:
And finally, we have launched a new video on the homepage that introduces Reform Judaism to visitors; it’s also featured on YouTube. We will be encouraging our congregations to use this video on their own websites to help welcome new visitors to their sites as well.
More developments, improvements, and additions are expected in the coming months. Please take some time to explore the site and, as always, we welcome your feedback!
