9:00 AM | Family Rosh Hashanah Experience
This one-hour family program will begin with a half-hour prayer experience with age-appropriate readings, prayers, music and an age-appropriate story, followed by apples, round challah, and hands-on activities.
10:30 AM | Rosh Hashanah Morning & Tashlich
Rabbi Carlie Daniels will offer a sermon. Music led by Cantor David Goldstein, Accompanist Jedidiah Maness, and the Temple Israel Choir. Tashlich is an outdoor experience to reflect individually on the past year, “casting off ” that which we wish to leave behind through the Jewish ritual of casting off crumbs into the water.
